Thanks to our Classroom Volunteers

We are fortunate to have several people who regularly volunteer their time to invest in the kids at New City School. Ms. Rachal Prensner has been volunteering weekly and teaching our students Spanish. We have appreciated her time and faithfulness. Sadly, she recently accepted a full time teaching position at Logos Academy. We are happy for her but she will be missed.

Marlene Dunn faithfully serves once or twice a month on Thursdays. Making a long commute in to bring her many years of Pre-K experience to New City School. The kids love her and she has fit right into the flow and culture of our program.

Thanks to Gabby Phillips our volunteer tumbling teacher. Ms. Gabby comes every other Thursday to teach the children some gymnastic skills. With her mats and much patience, she exposes the kids to some introductory tumbling exercises.

What would Wednesdays be like without Mr. Matt and Pastor Peter? They engage our New City School kids with varying musical instruments, teach songs and introduce some basic music components. Students have learned new songs and are especially fond of the bells and bongo drums.
